Stop painting like everyone else! Get Wild!!
This energized painting workshop explodes with creative experimentation. With Janice's help, you will be ready to jump right in and produce attention-grabbing art work injected with your own personal symbols and imagery.

Experimentation with acrylic mediums, unique techniques proven to "start your engine" and get you going on your own path to creativity.
- Beginners welcome.
- Brief paint demos & lecture to inspire you.
- Hands-on help and advice from experienced artists.
- Plenty of time for play and experimentation.
- Handouts of useful need-to-know information.
- Watercolor artists encouraged to attend.
- Professional Golden Artists Paint and Mediums are included.
- Each student will have a chance to complete 5-6 finished artwork pieces.
Janice Rentz, well-known for her mixed-media
and abstract art
classes at Jefferson Street Gallery in Albany, Georgia, brings
her well-developed teaching expertise to you in a way that is
fun and easily understood.
Learn to texture, layer, and apply color using paint, paper, brushes, pencils, stamps, hands... well just about anything you want to paint with can be used here in this workshop! No rules..... Just stress-free Creativity!
Janice's positive approachable teaching style towards creating art will inspire you to let go of your preconceived notions and have fun again. Find freedom to express yourself.
Learn and experiment
with new transparent and opaque techniques using liquid acrylics, watercolor, graphite,
gessoes, gels, GAC, and more using heavy Crescent board.
